Excellence in Customer Service
Exceptional customer service is about more than meeting expectations—it is about creating experiences that people remember for the right reasons. This course introduces the principles from Ken Blanchard and Sheldon Bowles’ Raving Fans and provides practical tools for turning everyday interactions into opportunities to build trust, loyalty, and confidence.
Description
Participants will explore what it means to move beyond simply satisfying customers and instead create Raving Fans by understanding what customers truly value, consistently delivering on those expectations, and looking for opportunities to exceed them. The course also recognizes that even with our best efforts, service breakdowns will happen. What matters is how we respond.
Through practical service recovery strategies, participants will learn how to respond when expectations are not met, listen with empathy, acknowledge concerns, take appropriate ownership, and work toward meaningful solutions. Participants will practice tools for managing difficult interactions, rebuilding trust, and turning a negative experience into an opportunity to strengthen the customer relationship.
